- Google CEO Eric Schmidt thinks kids should be allowed to change their names when they reach adulthood in order to start life with a “clean slate.”

- Having kids can totally save your life! Especially if you live near a fire station.

- “An 8-year-old who swiped his father’s credit card racked up more than $80 in charges at a convenience store, buying soda, Icees … even a lighter!” How resourceful! Also, who sells lighters to 8-year-olds?!

- A 16-year-old who broke her curfew was ordered by her parents to complete 30 hours of free babysitting. Oh, and they took out an ad with her picture in the paper offering her free services. Totally normal.

- We love these keyboard stickers with pictures that correspond to each letter. For instance, the letter W has a picture of a walrus, the letter O has a picture of an owl and the letter I has a picture of ice cream!

- A sixth-grader in Mississippi was sent home on the first day of school because his semi-but-not-really mohawk hair style was deemed “distracting.”

- This “Lullabies of the world” project by Russian animator Elizaveta Skvortsova is pretty cool. She’s taken 60 lullabies from around the world and created short animation pieces for each one. Check ‘em out!

- This mom/son burglar team ain’t all that bright. Together they stole $1670 worth of video games from a Best Buy store in a single day. They were busted in the parking lot.
